The grave of Major Francis Stupart of the 2nd or (Royal North British) Dragoons, more famously known as the Scots Greys. As seen in Warriston Cemetery in Edinburgh by myself and my Wife last weekend. Major Stupart or Lieutenant as was the position he held at Waterloo was in Cheney’s Troop at the battle in which he was also wounded. At the Museum of the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards in Edinburgh Castle you can see the pattern 1797 heavy cavalry officers’ sword wielded by Lieutenant Stupart at the great clash of 1815. -- source link
