Welcome to Ride, Charlie! You’ve been accepted as William O'Brien (OC)! I loved your character and can’t wait to see where you take him! OOC Name/Pseudonym: Charlie Can you handle sex, drugs, violence and motorcycles? Hell yeah. Time Zone and Activity Level (1/10): 7/8 Character Name: William O’Brien Age: 27 Occupation: Enforcer for the Lone Diablo’s/Mechanic at Mercer-Costello Martial Status: Single Affiliation (i.e. Lone Diablos, the Saylors, the Law): Lone Diablos Personal Quote: Everybody’s a little crazy, me more than most. Character Bio (3+ paragraphs in length, third person, spanning the character’s past to what they’re up to in Prosaic nowadays): William, more commonly known as Billy or Will was Irish-American. His mother had moved to American in her youth and met her father, a blue collar office worker. They married and moved to Prosaic to get away from the city, his mother taking a job at Grafton’s bar, while his father supported them after being accepted as a teacher at Oswald High though he never payed much attention to Billy when he wasn’t working. Billy was quiet at elementary but when he got to high school he came out of his shell, which despite his high intelligence, was not a good thing. Billy had multiple violent episodes which resulted in hospital trips for whoever was on the receiving end of his fist. Billy was a psychotic and delighted in violence, but after a trip to a psychiatrist which he easily charmed it was deemed he was simply going through a rough patch and needed some time away from school. While out of school Billy would go about town, and he began to see more and more of the Lone Diablo’s and was intrigued in the lifestyle, from that all he wanted in life was a cut and bike and set about learning as much about motorcycles, the MC life and the club itself as he could. He had already figured a life in crime was what he wanted, he could of got most of the jobs going in town if he wanted to make money legitimately but he wasn’t cut out for the blue collar lifestyle. He needed the rush he got when he was being violent and he certainly wasn’t going to get it anywhere… Unless he joined up with the Diablo’s. After another violent resulting in a shop being set alight and the store’s owner having a broken leg and arm, his mother shipped him off to her brother back in Ireland, she was reluctant as she knew he had been involved with the RIRA but he convinced her he had cut ties. When Billy arrived his uncle looked after him well, inquiring into his violent episodes and after a long conversation offered to train Billy to become better at hurting people to which Billy eagerly agreed. His uncle Desmond trained Billy up well, in unarmed, armed and firearm combat as well as assassination, interogattion, torture as well as others. Billy’s end of the deal, which came up afterwards was to help his uncle in RIRA operations when he revealed he had not cut ties but was intrigued by Billy’s affinity for violence. After quite a few years, Billy, now in his twenties, decided to head back to America and located the Colorado chapter of the Diablo’s and became a prospect. After a year and a half as a loyal prospect he was accepted into the Colorado chapter where he served for only a few months before requesting to become nomad, an unexpected decision though it was it was met with a unanimous vote. He went on the open road, seeing what it was to be a nomad and helping chapters wherever he could, although he made quite a stir wherever he went honorable mentions going to blowing up the clubhouse of an MC troubling one chapter and torturing the wife of a bent cop who threatened to expose another chapter. He was slowly making his way back to Prosaic, causing mayhem and violence wherever he went, and he finally made it home where he was accepted by the mother chapter there, he is one of, if not the best enforcer they have though there careful when sending him on jobs they aren’t sure about as he is comitted and does not like to be pulled off of a job. Although he was happy to be home and part of the MC he had not found the family welcome he had expected, not they cared for him when he was a child very much, all he found when he returned was an alcoholic father and a mother in the cemetry due to OD’ing. He has a good laugh with the others and may seem like a normal guy, but when it gets down to it he is incredibly brutal in his methods. He has developed good relationships with everybody in the MC through a mixture of being helpful and being charismatic, everyone likes him and everyone wants him there when shits going down. He’s always up for going for a drink or a punch up if anyone’s free and when he’s alone spends time flirting with the girls he likes, thoug he respects the others old ladies and would never hit on one. He never had much family that cared apart from his uncle and sees the MC as his real family. Three Pros: Charismatic - Dutiful - Efficient Three Cons: Psychotic - Brutal - Reckless Connections (if desired- if you don’t have any, some may be added for you as the admins see fit): I have this one, would you like to add another? I understand if not. Tommy Wickes: Billy views Tommy as the father he never had, Tommy may be able to keep his head, but they share a love for bike’s, the open road and a good bit of violence. Billy would take a bullet for Tommy and Tommy knows it, this loyalty born out of the father-son relationship, the admiration and respect Billy has for Tommy and the admiration and respect Tommy has for Billy’s “talents”. Billy is who Tommy wants around if violence is expected, which is a lot and isn’t bad with a spanner in his hand.
