kaleyhamilton: Sophie the vampire has just moved to a new dimension with her monster family, and she’s having trouble making friends. After seeing her strange clothing, spider backpack, and bringing her pet ghost into school for show and tell, her classmates don’t know what to think of her. Sophie decides to throw a sleepover to try to make friends, but things go very wrong in Sophie’s haunted house! Sophie’s Sleepover is a 32-page children’s book I wrote and illustrated for my undergraduate senior thesis project! The book took 3 months to create, and I’m very happy with the final result! The book will be on display from April 15th until May 14th at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design, as a part of the 2016 Senior Exhibition. Opening reception for the show is April 15th from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM, so if you’re in the Milwaukee/Chicago area I would love to see you there! -- source link
