This is one of my all time favorite fairy tales, and this edition was absolutely gorgeous. The illustrations were so vibrant, colorful and detailed. It really brought the text to life in a wonderful way.This particular picture book was text heavy, so geared toward an older elementary school audience. Though, it would be perfect for a read aloud, or if a parent were to read it to their child. For anyone looking for a fantastically rendered story about friendship, magic and mystery, this is the fairy tale, and picture book, for you. -- source link
