Here are some answers about what can you expect! ️ What can you offer?You can sign-up as  a writer, an artist (offering any art that can be delivered digitally, including but not limited to paintings, gifsets, manips, moodboards, etc), a vidder, a podficcer, someone who provides fan labor (culture-picking, sensitivity reading, betaing, translation). Please fill out only the relevant parts of the sign-up form.  ️ How many offers can one creator make? You can offer up to three works. They do not need to be of the same type - you can offer a fic, a betaing and a painting - but you’ll need to fill out the sign-up form once for each individual offer even if they are identical.  ️ Exactly what fandoms can you sign-up with? Only the Black Widow movie? Any fanwork connected to Black Widow, all her appearances—in the MCU, the comics, or in animations—and all characters connected to her story are welcome. ️ Do you need to give out any personal information in the process?No - we will ask you about a name (it can be fannish, your username or your real name - whatever you prefer), an email address we can contact you on, later in the process for your AO3 handle (if you don’t have an account, we can send an invitation for you), whether you are over 18 years old.  ️ Can you participate even if you are under 18 years old?Sure you can, we’d be delighted to have you. You however can’t offer (or bid on) explicit works.  ️ Do you need to have an account on X social media to participate?You’ll need an AO3 account - that’s how we will keep track of the finished works. A bit later we’ll bring you guides, FAQs and if necessary, invitations.  ️ Can you offer traditional art? You can, but only if you are able to digitalize it in at least 300dpi. The auction right now is not prepared to support shipping, so you’ll need to send a digital version even if you are a traditional artist.  ️ What languages can you use for this event? Just Like Budapest is a bilingual event - you’ll be able to sign-up and participate in English and Hungarian. As with each of our previous posts, the creator sign-up form will be available in English and Hungarian both. We however do not translate your offers - they will be published in the language your sign-up form was in.  ️ If this is a bilingual event, we help with translation?Yes, we do. Creators will be able to opt in or out of this in the sign-up form, but if, for example, someone would like to bid on an English-only creator’s artwork but they only speak Hungarian, one of the mods will be happy to help out during the process.  ️ Can you modify your offer(s) after you sent it in?You can’t modify the form after sending it in, but if anything comes up (or if you have any questions at any time), you can [reach out to us] and we’ll modify the relevant parts/find a solution!  ️ Which organisations does the auction support? We’ll (soon!) bring you a list of Hungarian LGBTQ and LGBTQ-friendly human rights and education-oriented organisations - all donations will go directly from the bidders to one of these. ️ If you are not sure you can start creating right in October / you have other time-related concerns:We know the world is still pretty chaotic, even compared to its usual standards. All we ask is that you do your very best to keep yourself to the hard deadline (30th of March, 2023) and that you keep in contact with your bidder. You don’t need to start creating right away and you can feel free to pace yourself during the creation period as you see fit.
