The V&A announced this week that it is set to unveil a major retrospective of the work of Cristóbal Balenciaga next Spring. Called ‘Balenciaga: Shaping Fashion’, the exhibition will feature around 100 garments and 20 hats and will mark 100 years since the iconic designer established his house in San Sebastian, and 80 years since his Paris salon opened its doors.
