Please, if you are actually adopted, OP, I urge you to educate yourself and actually start talking to the REAL community and start to learn what we do. I don’t believe you are adopted because your words here are incredibly ignorant.My adoptive mother, my non-abusive mother who loves me, believes me, sacrificed everything her life to take care of me, and did much for me, is “mom/mommy”. It is my choice to call her that. We have a deep relationship.My birth mother, the non-abusive woman who gave birth to me, loves me, believes in me, and stood up to a highly abusive man to save my life and make sure I had a better chance than what I was facing, is “mama”. It is my choice to call her that. We are just starting our relationship.The relationship Henry has with Regina is ABUSIVE. It does not matter what it is.
