#METGALA - I love the Met Gala because not only does it have some amazing fashion, but it’s also one of the largest fundraisers in the nation! Here are my favorite looks from the red carpet tonight, the rest can be seen here: 1. Beyonce in Givenchy: because which other new mom can pull off a sheer dress & purple feathers? 2. Florence Welch in Alexander McQueen: the blush/champagne hues go perfectly with her hair and I think the skirt length is perfectly suited for this event. 3. Anna Wintour in Prada: only Vogue’s EIC would think to pay homage to Schiaparelli, referencing her famous lobster dress. 4. Lea Michele in DVF: I love the deep V-neck halter on her and the under-bust rushing adds a nice feminine touch. 5. Karolina Kurkova in Rachel Zoe: because who doesn’t love a dress made entirely of gold sequins? 6. Chanel Iman in Tom Ford: I think this is the epitome of of “old Hollywood glamour meets modern elegance.” The sheer netting looks great with the white fabric layer, which has a “graphed” quality to it. 7.
