I wanted to make my story public, I went to court after being sexually assaulted by my former roommate. I had a protective order so he couldn’t harass me and continue to stalk me. The judge ordered that since I was late on paying 550 for rent that month, I was lying about the assult to get out of paying rent. I want women to know that they need to speak out and help prevent people not taking rape victims seriously. -- source link
