@queen_l0yalty_: “Hello, my name is Jessica. I am born and raised in California. I am #Filipino, #NorthWesternEuropean (#Wales), #Irish and #Portuguese. I am also #mixedwith small percentages of other races. I mainly Identify with Filipino and North Western European because those are my dominant races as percentages. Being a brown skinned woman I have been stereotyped, discriminated against and made to feel less than. Everyone assumes me to be Mexican because as they say, “You look Mexican you don’t look Filipino.” ♀️ People come up to me speaking Spanish. I unfortunately don’t understand Spanish nor speak it. I’ve always gotten dirty looks or treated rudely when I can’t speak Spanish or understand Spanish. It can be quite frustrating and make you feel less than. As I have gotten older and have learned to love and accept myself.
