dailyrothko: Mark Rothko, Untitled, 1964, Acrylic and casein on canvas, 93 x 80 inches I have often wondered whether this could be #6 of the black form paintings, as the edges are pretty close. The troublesome issues abound though, as this scan is so light it seems unlikely (though not impossible) for it to belong and also the top and bottom cropping seem off when compared with what we have. It is suspiciously the right year, though. -- source link
