Lana Del Rey covers Vogue UK. Now, I’ve made my thoughts on Lana clear on this blog before (if you didn’t read my last post on her, check it out here). However, like the hypocrite I am, I’m slightly won over by her thanks to the editorial in March’s Vogue UK. Admittedly, this is mostly because she’s wearing sequin hotpants. The cover itself, I’m not overly a fan of, but due to the buzz surrounding Ms. Del Rey, it’s sure to be a bestseller. Editor Alexandra Shulman explains her choice on Vogue.co.uk: “Once I had seen Lana play at a small event in London, I was convinced that she would be a great Vogue cover girl, even though she is probably one of the newest stars in her field that the magazine has ever had on the cover.” The March issue of Vogue is available from Monday 6th February 2012. Lana is wearing Louis Vuitton SS12’s line on the cover. -- source link
