noctilin: some tips i gave my friend today and additional notes that i was lazy to handwrite: hairline depends on how big someone’s forehead is people have diff hairlines. some have triangle, heart, square shaped ones parting/flow line can start almost anywhere on the scalp if you dont find a parting line not only will the hair look weird, it’ll also make it harder to draw volume is very important bc it gives your character life try not to over-detail hair bc it makes it busier and hard to look at -- source link
