the-eastern-witch: Yesterday wasn’t just regular Tuesday night magic ritual, but also our Petilasan Ratu Kidul’s birthday ( one of our sacred rooms for magic ritual ). Actually the exact date was April 6th, but dad wanted to celebrate it before our every Tuesday night magic ritual. So here are the pics. As usual, according to our culture, every celebration must have “ Tumpeng “ ( turmeric rice with meats, eggs and vegetables in cone shape, sometimes can be graded like wedding cake. Usually, the bigger the celebration, the bigger / taller the “ Tumpeng “ ). And the top of Tumpeng always being cut first to be given to the most important person at the celebration. Since it’s Petilasan Ratu Kidul’s birthday, dad cut the top of Tumpeng and gave it as offering for Ratu Kidul ( 6th pic ). The offering included night queen flowers ( 5th pic ), Ratu Kidul’s fav flower. Dad then chanted opening spells and threw red and white roses petals to Ratu Kidul’s grave. Clients lined in queue to do the same, after that ( 7th and 8th pics ). Ofc Tumpeng means to be eaten, so clients ate it with some other foods ( last pic ). -- source link
