2017 had been good to me - I got a second season of#CBCNewFire which led me to Winnipeg … released #NotYourPrincess this fall co-edited by @mbleatherdale & published by Annick Press (which is already racking up nominations & awards - ) … and kick-started a different venture in my repertoire by signing on with #CityNewsWPG. BUT the best moment was joining #WEDay in my home city, Toronto, and taking the stage. Trust me, there’s no feeling like talking to an entire STADIUM filled with fired up teens who are passionate about social justice!!! Now, that is the future & I hope a bigger part of MY future.
