It’s Me It’s Me Saturday, July 13, 6:30 PM (123 min.) When Satoshi discovers that an obnoxious coworker has left has forgotten his phone at work, he uses the opportunity to use a popular scam to get money from the man’s mother. Satoshi is perplexed, however, when the mother seems to believe he is really her son even when he runs into her on the street. He’s even more baffled when a doppelganger of his accuses him of not being the real Satoshi. When a third copy enters the fray, it becomes clear that what began as a case of stolen identity is quickly becoming something much stranger. As it slowly shifts from quirky comedy to surreal nightmare, It’s Me It’s Me proves that director Satoshi Miki has definitively earned his spot amongst the ranks of great visually inventive directors such as Spike Jonze, Michel Gondry, and Charlie Kaufman.
