chinatowndo: 33 years ago today, Vincent Chin, a 27 year old Chinese-American, was beaten to death by unemployed autoworkers who mistook him to be Japanese and blamed him for the loss of American jobs. His tragic death at the hands of prejudice is a reminder of the real harm that can be done by hate speech and xenophobia.
