Pardon the crappy picture quality, but this is sorta what the view from our new hotel room looks like. It’s in Kowloon and the view is of Victoria Harbour and downtown Hong Kong. It rained a bit today, but luckily that made the air cool down a little. There are tons of malls and restaurants around here and we took an evening stroll on the Avenue of Stars, which is basically Hong Kong’s Walk of Fame. Also had dinner at a sushi restaurant which my boyfriend enjoyed a lot. (I can’t really eat sushi, even though I do like the ingredients. Something about it makes me nauseous.) I found a few things too, mainly sweet stuff and some egg custard, but I’m really craving a good steak right now. There are plenty of steakhouses around and HK food is super cheap, so maybe that’ll work out tomorrow. Also, there’s a complimentary smart phone in our room, providing mobile internet and free calls.
