Happy [Belated] International Women’s Day!We went straight from Black History Month into Women’s History Month and I have never been so inspired! This month I have been planning and brainstorming on an idea I wish I had growing up as black, female, creative individual with a passion for innovation and technology.I wish there was a space where I can learn about comm tech and grow as a designer as a teenager, so that is why I want to create that space as soon as I graduate University and make it as inexpensive (or free) as possible, so that young people who do not have the resources will finally reach their full potential. We need to bridge the gap of people of color in tech, and also between women in tech and everyone else! Diversity brings new, fresh ideas to the technology workplace that I think is so important for tech advancements, and I want to make that happen. Anyways, I will keep all of you guys, my blogging + Tumblr friends, in the loop on my new venture!
