doxiequeen1: Why is black velvet so hard to photograph. It looks less poopy in person.;; It doesn’t fit my dress form at all so everything looks too wide and sort of crooked. It also needs to be de-linted… Finally made an effort to get this done, I redid the neckline (after taking these photos) on the grey dress and made a little petticoat for it which ads a bit of volume. I made the trim for the black dress and sewed all the skirt panels on and it was complete! I think it’s cute. It didn’t come out quite the way I had hoped, but oh well. I need to style a wig to go with it, and then I will try to get some worn pics! -- source link
