In Spain it has been the day on which presents were distributed to children. The night before, “12th Night,” has been and is a time for parades and celebration in Spain, Italy and elsewhere. In North America the tradition of celebration at epiphany never took firm hold.This was a photo on a memory card without notes I can find, and context suggests nothing other than it was taken somewhere in Italy last winter. -- source link
