laurierrose: reblog if you’re a blood-worshipping fucking SATANIST who loves her womanhood and thinks periods are beautiful Why is it so deeply ingrained in human beings (especially men) to despise the concept of menstruation. Like, we all floated around in menstrual blood as fetuses. Without periods none of us would be alive. I know it’s all part of misogyny but still I don’t get why people feel SO negatively about it? I mean seriously men have been forcing women out of their homes and society in general when they have a period since biblical times and the disgust and stigma is still present even in the most “progressive” of societies. And then when women try to make it into a positive thing they basically get called satanists. All because of a little blood. -- source link
