The news that Daredevil writer Mark Waid will be coming to Comic Book City, USA for CBCC 2013! Few writers have remained as prolific and inventive over the last 20 years as Mr. Waid. It truly can’t be summarized, but we’ll try. He spoiled an entire generation of Flash fans with his pivotal development of Wally West in the ‘90s. He was the only person with the encyclopedic knowledge of the DC Universe to match enthusiasm with Alex Ross on Kingdom Come. He pulled Boom! Studios from the shadows as their editor-in-chief and creator of two of their highest selling titles of all time, Irredeemable and Incorruptible. He broke Daredevil free of a 30 year cycle of bad luck. And in 2012 he snapped comics free of the printed page in a whole new way with his Avengers vs. X-Men Infinite Comics supplements and put his own legendary comic collection on the line to bring you a new frontier of creator-owned comics with Thrillbent.
