shredsandpatches:I HATE DAN JONES SO MUCH(the article in the link, which he didn’t write, is pretty good though, even if it’s a bit reductive about Paul Strohm’s discussion of queenship)I actually want to die now. In my attempt to watch his show for shits and giggles, after suffering through the Richard II episode I thought he couldn’t get any worse (BONUS if you theorise Richard II had some kind of personality disorder, Jones was ableist about him too) when I tried the Wars of the Roses part (even though I don’t know much about the period) I couldn’t get past the first five minutes because of his disgusting ableism to Henry VI. Just… Henry couldn’t help he was disabled and it’s unfair to consider him the villain. A bad person does things on purpose, Henry didn’t. -- source link
