24-years-old, born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, IL, Kathryn graduated in DePaul University’s class of ’09 with a BA in Public Relations & Advertising, and now works for a global promotions agency which makes Burger King Kids Meal toys. Her cosplay ‘career’ began in 2003 when she attended Anime Central (her first convention), and over the years she has gradually taught herself how to sew. She first began performing with NOTN in 2007′s skit “Super Elric Bros“. Even when unable to attend conventions and perform with the group, Kathryn has contributed to script writing and editing. Her current favorite costumes are Rosette from Chrono Crusade and Rue from Princess Tutu; currently, she has no dream costume. Rynn admires many cosplayers but specifically gives “mad props” to the ladies of Cupcake Cosplay and Twinzik for their consistently wonderful skits. The conventions she says she has the most fun at, are FanimeCon in San Jose, CA, and ColossalCon in Sandusky, OH. In 2010 Rynn and Krystal were selected to represent the USA in the World Cosplay Summit in Nagoya, Japan! In her spare time, she likes reading, web design, and spending time with her friends and boyfriend. Favorite Anime and Manga include Fullmetal Alchemist, Beck, Death Note, Ouran Host Club, and Nana.
