Look back in time to prepare for family winter entertainment! Our new exhibit, “Whimsical Wonders: Toys, Games, and Other Amusements from the Past,” went up today! The materials on display will include many fine examples of pastime entertainment from the 1800s and early 1900s, including puzzles, porcelain dolls, and hand-cranked box theaters. The exhibit also explores the art of souvenirs and the fine illustrations that were used in panoramas and folding peep shows for remembering special occasions.This exhibit will run through December.
