She is best known for taking down a Dark Eldar Archite’s clasp on a planet along with some Space Marines.Anderson, eh? But seriously, following suit with MegaCity One is definitely the way to have Pyskers in the Sisterhood; tempering a predisposition towards distrust with respect for the individual and their capabilities (on the right side of the battle).Yea. Dredd was a pretty good movie, all things considered. Anderson though. WOW. I really needed a Psychic Sister after all that. Plus Anderson’s actress had the face shape and attitude of a younger Ariel Eva.But I kinda like the theory that Sisters may be psychic due to their “Act of Faith” abilities. I think having a Psyker or Psyker based Sororitas Order would be possible one way or another.Yes Sisters are known to hate Pyskers but I also think that they are more three-dimensional than that and if a fellow Sister, especially one that already shown promise and Faith, was a Pysker they would not only allow her to continue to live and preach as a Sister, but also as a teacher to other Psykers. Aye. I’ve found from experience that there’s a bit of freedom to be found in emphasising the difference between psyker and witch. (And let’s not forget who the Greatest Psyker Alive is.) As a character, a Sister Psykana is definitely an interesting one. In much the same way as their Acts of Faith (as you mention), a Sister found to manifest psychic abilities might be seen as having a particularly strong bond to the Emperor, able to channel a fraction of His power—even if it does set her apart from her sisters.And yes, there’s a fair problem in general of people forgetting that Imperial citizens are still human. -- source link
