And I’m extra-glad you picked up on the Boaz/Jachin pillars thing, because I didn’t feel I could justify really going into it but it gave me all the feels too!In case anyone else is interested, this is what the pillars thing is about. I established Dean’s link to the Biblical character Boaz here and here; and here is where it says Boaz is also a pillar of Solomon’s temple and goes into the meanings of the name. There’s a lot there at the link, but I summed it up in the meta as “The name means ‘by strength’, possibly 'God establishes in strength,’ or, I’ve seen elsewhere, 'strength is within him.’”And here’s Jachin (Sam), which got short shrift in the meta:…Jachin is the right one of two pillars in front of Solomon’s temple; the left one is named Boaz (1 Kings 7:21).
