In Matthew 18:12-14 a parable is told of the wandering sheep whose owner leaves the 99 to go in search of it. And when he has found the lost sheep, he is “happier about the one sheep than about the ninety-nine that did not wander off.”In the same way, our Father in Heaven goes in search of us when we have gone astray and rejoices when we are reunited with Him.The parable shows the great love and deep care that God has for each one of us as His children.
