acaballz:ArbularyoI’m preparing for Emerald City Comic Con and I wanted to make one last artwork. I cant believe it’s next week!To pair up with my Manananggal illustration, I created a piece inspired by the Arbularyo, which is a witch doctor or healer in the Philippines. I have her surrounded by herbs and garlic to protect her from the monsters. I also have her holding a stingray’s talk called a buntot pagi, which is used as a weapon and a curse deflector.
