studykorean4me:I just wanted to show the apps I use to help me study. The Talk to Me in Korean app is my favorite and it’s very thorough and helpful. The Tiny cards app isn’t just for Korean but you just search up a topic and it’s very nice. There are good Korean lessons especially if you struggle with hangul or certain vocabulary. Memrise is really good too and my only real complaint is it teaches you things in formal and informal grammar but doesn’t tell you which is which. So it’s slightly aggravating but it’s really nice for vocab and phrases and learning hangul. All in all these apps are really helpful and I just thought I’d share them I wholeheartedly suggest you make your own Memrise courses. I also studied from pre-made courses because it seemed quicker to just jump in and start studying right away rather than waste my time inputting thousands of words myself, but in the end it was the other way around - trying to memorize other people’s courses turned out (mostly) a waste of time. Now I decide which word to add, I check pronunciation to see if I know it, if not I add it to the pronunciation column, I add Hanja for similar words to Hanja column (I don’t know Hanja, I just use them for differentiating), I add my own notes, very short sample sentence from Naver etc. It completely changed how quickly I memorize new Korean vocabulary. -- source link
