I want to write a long nerd post at some point about the inception of the character Namor the Sub-mariner, but for now here’s his first ever appearance in comics, in Motion Picture Funnies Weekly #1 from April 1939 (reprinted, plus four additional pages, in Marvel Mystery Comics in October of that year), written and drawn by Bill Everett.What does Namor do first off in this debut?
