Ru’qa Rua - Fighter Or Farce?- Ganelon, The Mythril EyeThis reporter had hoped the shame that Avila brought to The Mythril Cup would be the end of such follies, but alas, ‘twould seem that was only the beginning. The only child of rising Bloodsands fighter Ru’tashta the Ruthless, Ru’qa Rua, until very recently, showed promise in becoming a challenger herself under her domineering dam’s unyielding tutelage. Now, the lass seems intent on ruining Ru’tashta’s reputation as well as her own, having recently taken none other than notorious embarrassment Johnny Bahamut under her wing. Was it pity? Rebellion against her whip-wielding dam? Terrible taste in menfolk? Twelve only know what would drive Ru’qa to make this decision, yet here we are. Very arguably his “manager”, so far the lass seems naught but a distraction for Bahamut’s humiliating defeats, prone to beginning brawls in the stands–even at matches against Ru’tashta, who tops Bahamut soundly 30-0. While some find her back-alley tactics more entertaining than her ward’s buffoonery, this reporter finds it a shameful display against the once-noble traditions of the ring. But as of this writing, she refuses to yield to reality, and her association with Bahamut continues. In this reporter’s humble opinion, Ru’tashta needs to cuff and perhaps even collar her wayward whelp to bring her under a firm hand, before it’s too late for them both. The diminutive lass could be quite charming in her more sensible days: much like watching a couerl kitten trying to puff itself against a wolf, moreso if she would only take up her dam’s penchant for leather straps, but (Editor’s note: We will be bringing you part two of Ganelon’s report upon their recovery.) -- source link
