#Inktober Day 16: When I first read Jenny Odell’s transcribed Eyeo talk on “how to do nothing” back in 2017 (HOW HAS IT ALREADY BEEN TWO YEARS???), it felt like the articulation of so many thoughts I’d been toying with around my own career, my relationship to place, and the unsustainable cadence of my creative practice. I snapped up the expanded book version as soon as it came out, and read it off the grid in a cabin by a lake (highly recommended). The book is stellar, and Jenny just spoke at XOXO this year, too!
