shoutatthedevilsfoodcake:spinningininfinity:manyfandomfollower:oui-ladybug:get you a man like that to sit next to your mother. My favorite thing about his is he didn’t take over her moment. He stepped in to help her keep her balance to avoid a potentially awful fall/wardrobe malfunction/both and helped her get her footing up the stairs. He let her control the amount of assistance she needed, not forcing her to let him escort her, but rather be something for her to lean on a few moments. How easy it would have been to really intrude on her moment by forcefully walking her up to the mic, making the moment as much about as him as her. But no, just offered assistance only when seeing disaster close by, not simply thinking her incapable and moving before she could. I just really love that he let Regina shine in her momentThis is the perfect example of non-toxic masculinity. Chris Evans is the walking embodiment of non-toxic masculinity. -- source link
