makos-lightningrod:i feel like no one realizes how much korra must love her father. i mean, of course she loves both her parents equally but after watching the two of them for two books, it just kills me how he takes her in his arms like that and holds her. despite the fact that she’s strong and muscular and this amazing woman, she can so easily revert to being her father’s daughter. i dont want to call her a daddy’s little girl, but i feel like she definitely is. and she doesnt want to let him down because she knows how much shes done in the past and what he’s seen her do. she’s been selfish and stubborn, but he’s seen her blossom into this independent, selfless girl who he’s so proud of no matter what. and when he calls her sweetheart, you can just stab my fucking heart, carve it out and then carve a mini heart out of it before stabbing it again -- source link
