I would be ecstatic if I saw this@biologyweeps I’m like 99% sure that plants be albino cause they don’t have melanin anyways but why is this plant white how does it photosynthesize is this mother nature’s prank????Albino plants are absolutely a thing - it’s due to lack of natural pigmentation, whether that’s melanin or chlorophyll or other biological pigments! Usually albino plants die pretty quickly because they indeed cannot photosynthesize- I doubt this would ever grow to be a normal tree. -- source link
