9/26日、本日19時まで営業。林香苗武の個展開催中です。作家の進化を垣間見る新作群にご注目ください。 Hayashi Kanae Takeshi solo exhibition ’Straw’ 林香苗武 個展「ストロー」 2021年9月18日(土)～10月10日(日) 木金 15:00～20:00／土日 12:00～19:00 月～水 休み （最終日18時終了） 会場：WISH LESS gallery （東京都北区田端5-12-10） @__hkth__ WISH LESS galleryでは、ペインター・林香苗武の個展を開催いたします。林は疾走感あふれる描写で目に見えない「速度」を常に追求してきました。本展では、制作の厳しさから解放してくれた「遊び」を見つめ直し、絵を描く純粋な喜びを独特の直線や曲線を用いて存分に表現していきます。 === キャンバスに絵を描くことは、長い間多くの苦痛を伴うものだった。 ここ2年ほどの間にそれが急に楽しいと感じられるようになったのは、今まで避けていたイラストや漫画を積極的に描いたり、デジタルツールによるドローイングで遊んでいたからかも知れない。 世の中はこんな状況で、とにかく時間があったし、美術に対する考えも変わっていったように思う。 展示と言うよりも何かの遊びを見るような、新しい景色が生まれることを願っている。 === ※ 新型コロナウィルス感染防止対策として、マスクを着用してご来店ください。 ※ ギャラリー内での飲食は固くお断りいたします。 === WISH LESS gallery is excited to announce Hayashi Kanae Takeshi’s solo exhibition ‘Straw’. Takeshi has been pursuing the theme of ‘speed’ in her dynamic paintings and installations since 2011. She approached the production of the work for this exhibition with a fresh mental attitude, that resulted in her having fun with the creative process and found that it freed her from the usual rigours and stress of art production, and allowed her to fully express the pure joy of drawing with unique straight lines and curves. === Painting on canvas has long been painful. In the last two years or so, it suddenly became fun because I was actively drawing illustrations and manga that I had avoided until now, and also experimenting with drawings using digital techniques. During the pandemic, I found myself with more time on my hands to explore my personal attitude, which lead to a change in the way I thought about art.
