I’ve never been a Party Girl in the traditional sense (been drunk once in my life, never done drugs, etc) but I felt drawn to #highpeace regardless. I’ve been holding off on reading the book until break, but I couldn’t help sneaking in a couple of chapters as a study break and I have to say that I am so, so blown away by @tara_bliss – her vulnerability, her strength, her honesty. I spent twenty minutes journaling after reading the first chapter and cried with the emotional release of putting pen to paper. No, I may not have been a Party Girl but I’ve been dishonest with myself and letting fear and resistance get in the way of pursuing what I know is right. I cannot wait to devour the rest of the book over the next few days, to learn, and grow, and cry. To be one step closer to being a Peace Girl, to having found the strength and courage within myself to become more attuned and authentic.
