The Franklin Armory Covert replaces the standard slide on a Taurus PT92 or Beretta 92 series pistol for a 12 Gauge flare or shotgun upper.It’s a tilt-open design like a standard single shot flare gun. Keep in mind that while the 12 Gauge flare launcher requires can be bought regularly, the 12 Gauge shotgun upper requires BATFE paperwork since it is classified as an AOW.
