As a child, Seema was badly burned in an accident, leaving her with wounds so bad they became infested with worms. Everyone thought she would die - her parents didn’t care if she did. She overheard them saying, “We have six more daughters and two sons to feed. If she dies, it wouldn’t matter much to us.”Seema’s family eventually abandoned her, leaving her in the care of compassionate Christians who dressed her wounds. She was 11 years old.Since then Seema has survived on her own - and recently received support from Open Doors to expand her tiny shop.Pray for God’s provision over Seema and others like her who have been cast aside and have no other hope. -- source link
