The second single, One Sweet Day, topped the Billboard Hot 100 for sixteen consecutive weeks and became the longest-running number one single in American History, a record it still holds. Third single, Always Be My Baby, became Carey’s 11th chart topper on the Billboard Hot 100. It spent two weeks atop the chart and was the most played song of 1996 on American radio.
