The 1976 version of King Kong will be released on Collector’s Edition Blu-ray on May 11 via Scream Factory. Hugh Fleming designed the new cover art; the original theatrical poster will be on the reverse side. The remake of the 1933 monster classic is directed by John Guillermin (The Towering Inferno), written by Lorenzo Semple Jr. (Flash Gordon), and produced by Dino De Laurentiis (Army of Darkness, Flash Gordon).It stars Jeff Bridges, Charles Grodin, and Jessica Lange in her film debut.
