athena1138: Fam I worked in my dorm’s dining hall and it’s so telling because literally the weirdest thing I’ve ever seen in there was one night we had pork chops. Problem is, management decided 88 pork chops was plenty. For the busiest dining hall on campus. Obviously, we ran out in like 10 minutes. Our back up? Almond fried tilapia. People would come up, point at the obviously not pork chops and say, “can I get the pork chop?” And i’d have to be like, “I’m sorry, it’s tilapia now.” And they’d deadass go, “oh ok I’ll have that then.” Like??? Who the fuck goes to get a pork chop and is fine with fucking fish??????AND THEN we ran out of tilapia like half an hour after we changed the menu to say tilapia. The backup was cod. So we’d get people coming up asking about pork chops and then they’d see the sign for tilapia and ask for that anyways and then we’d still have to be like, “sorry, it’s cod” and THEY WOULD STILL FUCKING BE OK WITH IT -- source link
