Mugshot Monday - “BIG ❤️ MUG” by Melissa Weiss with Wonderland Espresso Blend by Peace CoffeeWhat can I say – I can’t help but SMILE just looking at this mug!The glaze is amazing with that big huge red heart. I can’t show you how cozy the handle is or how the cup is weighted just right so it *feels* good when I’m drinking coffee.It was made by North Carolina potter Melissa Weiss. She harvests her own clay, makes her own glazes and is just an all-around amazing human.I had the opportunity to meet Melissa in 2019 at the much-missed St. Croix Valley Pottery Tour where we geeked out talking about clay and cups and Mugshot Monday.I bought one of her mugs in 2019 – it was my favorite at the time with black triangles all the way around.Melissa designed one of these ❤️  mugs for her December 2020 release and I was blown away! I messaged her about it saying it was amazing. She said she had decided to give it to her daughter.I think a bunch of other people mentioned how great it was because she promised to make more!And here we are. I was lucky enough to buy one because her work sells out FAST during her online sales. I adore this mug – such a good vibe.If you love it, too, I suggest following Melissa on Instagram (@melissaweisspottery) and humbly hint that she make more of them.
