these-hips-dont-lieee: running4my-life: sfhealthjunkie: sfhealthjunkie: Okay, so let’s talk about these. I know everyone wants to hear the journey - how I lost weight, what I ate, what exercise did I learn to love.. well, I don’t want to talk about that. I want to talk about my gains. I gained LOVE. Love for myself, for what my amazing body can do. Love for the struggle. I gained KNOWLEDGE. Knowledge about who I am as a person. Knowledge about my body and what it can do. Knowledge about the fitness world and the nutrition world. I gained TRUST. Trust that my body can push through and accomplish what my mind is set on. Trust that when I completely fail, I will turn around and try again. I gained APPRECIATION. I appreciate everyone who supports me and even the ones who don’t. I gained RESPECT. Respect for all the people who have the courage to get off the couch. Who walk into the gym whether they feel comfortable or not. Who try something that pushes them out of their comfort zone, to try and make themselves a better person. I gained CONFIDENCE. I know who I am. Through the anxiety, the depression, I can be the person I want to be and I have the confidence to try. Gains are much more than physical.❤️ (And I’ll be adding a new updated photo this weekend for 1/2018!) Reblog. Oldie but goodie. Time for new progress pics! ❤❤❤❤ You go girl -- source link
