I shot out to a mile for the first time in my life at @followthroughbuck scoped carbine course. No, I didn’t get a hit, but the fact that I went from missing idpa sized steel targets from 15 yards away 13 years ago to almost hitting a target from a mile away today is good enough for me. Ok, I’m lying. I was pissed and @followthroughbuck had to bring my ego and expectations back to reality. However, I truly I enjoyed the experience. I will say, after this course, if you give me my @modernoutfitters MC7 chambered in 6.5 (pictured) and any target out to 1000 meters, in the words of @followthroughbuck “I’m gonna stitch it up”.
