A woman who he barely knew at the time? He could’ve so easily turned back after she left him standing there with that tease, but he didn’t. He was just so overwhelmed by this woman that even though he presumably didn’t even know if he’d ever see her again after this, he still absolutely knew (right from the beginning) that he wanted to be a better man.
