zooophagous:I finally finished putting this skeleton back together. This poor beast was a pet store feeder rat that died young. It’s obvious why: he’s sporting a severe case of malocclusion. The teeth didn’t properly line up and wear down, so they grew long and out of control until the animal couldn’t eat. It wound up euthanized because of the defect. If your pet rodent will not eat, it’s possible a peek at their teeth can reveal why. This is fixable by a veterinarian. -- source link
