As an adult it probably would not have been especially fast: it’s been calculated that in order for it to run faster than 40 km/h (25 m/hr) it would need leg muscles that were 40-80% of its body mass. Research still needs to be done, but it would not have been one of the mesozoic’s swiftest runners. Trachodon is currently a nomen dubium, or dubious name. And Tyrannosaurus would not have been dumb enough to swallow a Triceratops skull whole. Get with the program, people. -- source link
